NDIS Cleaning Services

Cleaning NDIS properties requires a systematic and thorough approach to ensure that the properties are maintained to the highest standard.

Our Process:

  • Assess the Property: Before cleaning any NDIS property, it is essential to assess the property and identify areas that require attention. This includes inspecting the property for any damage, identifying high traffic areas that may require additional cleaning, and determining any specific requirements the client may have.

  • Develop a Cleaning Plan: Based on the assessment, develop a comprehensive cleaning plan that outlines the scope of work, cleaning schedule, and any special requirements. This plan should include a detailed checklist of all the areas to be cleaned and the specific cleaning tasks to be carried out in each area.

  • Gather Equipment and Supplies: Once the cleaning plan is in place, gather all the necessary equipment and supplies needed to carry out the cleaning tasks. This includes cleaning solutions, mops, brooms, dustpans, gloves, and any other specialized equipment that may be required.

  • Start with High Traffic Areas: Begin by cleaning high traffic areas first, such as entryways, hallways, and living areas. These areas tend to accumulate the most dirt and grime and require special attention.

  • Clean Each Room: Once high traffic areas are clean, move on to cleaning each room, starting with the highest point in the room and working your way down. This includes dusting, wiping down surfaces, vacuuming, and mopping the floors.

  • Pay Attention to Details: Pay close attention to details such as wiping down baseboards, cleaning behind appliances, and cleaning out cupboards and drawers. These areas are often neglected and can accumulate dirt and debris over time.

  • Inspect the Property: Once the cleaning is complete, inspect the property to ensure that all areas have been cleaned to the required standard. This includes checking for any missed areas, ensuring all equipment and supplies are put away, and ensuring that the property is left in a clean and safe condition.

  • Update Cleaning Plan: After the cleaning is complete, update the cleaning plan to reflect any changes made during the cleaning process. This includes adding any additional cleaning tasks or modifying the cleaning schedule to ensure that the property is maintained to the highest standard.

Following this process ensures that NDIS properties are cleaned to the highest standard and that clients are provided with a clean and safe living environment.

Our People

All Our NDIS cleaners are trained to work with NDIS participants, including but not limited to courses for effective supporting communication, NDIS orientation module and how to deal with conflict with NDIS participants. All our cleaners are trained to pay attention to important details that might put at risk the participant wellbeing and report them to the support coordinator. At AU PlusCleaning, we understand that more than a cleaning service, some participants develop emotional connections with their care givers and supporting staff, and that routines are important, so we try to minimise as much as we can the rotation of staff with the participant and unplanned changes in their schedules.

Our qualified staff have worked for numerous NDIS participants with disabilities across Sydney Metropolitan Area with a proven record of compassionate, considerate, caring and respectful professionals’ approach that makes the difference in the service we provide.

We will send our NDIS Service Agreement to the Support Coordinator or NDIS plan manager for their review. Once we get their approval, we can either send it for electronical sign off to the NDIS participant or the legal representator. If the NDIS participant does not have an email address, we can also send it to the email of the Support Coordinator or Support Worker to facilitate the participant’s electronical sign off or we can provide a hard copy.

We customised the scope work based on the participant budget, and we charge based on the NDIS Price Structure.

NDIS Forensic Cleaning

This is a specialized service that is designed to help individuals who struggle with hoarding behaviours to manage and organize their living space. Hoarding disorder is a mental health condition that causes individuals to have difficulty discarding items, which can lead to clutter and disorganization in their homes. This can result in unsafe living conditions and health hazards.

The cleaning process is usually done in stages, with the team starting in one area of the home and gradually working their way through to other areas.
